연구 소개 (Research in brief)


 

의료영상 분야에 적용되는 시스템기술과 관련된 연구를 수행하고 있다. 특히 뇌신경과학의 기초과학 분야와 임상연구 분야에 이용될 수 있는 기술에 관심을 갖고 있으며 특히MRI의 하드웨어(RF Coil, Gradient Coil 등), MR sequence 및 methodology, MR 영상 재구성 기법, 영상 후처리 및 분석 기법 개발 등을 모두 아우르는 분야에 대한 연구를 수행하고 있으며 이 과정에서 기초적인 알고리즘의 개발과 테스트, 이후 최적화 단계 및 임상 응용에 이르기까지 개발의 전 과정에서 포괄적인 연구를 진행하고 있다.

 

Various research is being conducted with the goal of developing system-level technologies that could be applied to MRI field. In particular, we aim to develop technologies that can be used for both the basic science and clinical research fields of neuroscience. Thus, we actively communicate with basic research and clinical experts at Gachon University Gil Hospital and reflect feedbacks into our studies. Also, we are conducting research on all areas of image science including the  hardware of MRI(for example RF Coil, Gradient Coil), MR sequence, methodology, MR imaging reconstruction, the development of imaging post-processing, and advanced analysis methods with aim of developing an algorithm which is useful for clinical applications.
